The NORA Interdisciplinary Seminars, established in 2002, are offered quarterly, typically in the months of February, April, August, and November. The seminars, presented “live” on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus are also webcast with an archive link available a few days after the seminar. This enables any member of the occupational health and safety community to attend and participate. Attendees can obtain continuing education units (CEUs) through the UNC-Chapel Hill at a nominal fee after completing an evaluation form. Since August 2009, CM points from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene for certified industrial hygienists (CIHs) and RM points from the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists are also available for each seminar at no cost, after completing an evaluation form.
Information about the seminar is sent electronically at least a week prior to the seminar along with the slides and evaluation form.
