We have received several complaints about difficulties filling out the WHWB membership form. People who only have the Adobe Reader® software as a pdf reader can fill out the form, but when an attempt is made to save it, only the blank form is saved. This explains a number of blank membership forms we have received! If you have the Adobe Acrobat® package, you can fill out and send the form with no difficulty. Alternatively, if you have the free Foxit Reader® software installed, you can fill out a pdf form and send it with no problems.
Many people prefer the Foxit Reader® to Adobe Reader®. It is faster and more capable, having several features found in Acrobat®, but not in Adobe Reader®. In addition it is a much smaller program that takes up less space and works better on older computers. You can download a free copy here. Unfortunately, as far as I know, Foxit® is only available for Windows®.
For those who cannot add new programs to their computers, or who do not use Windows®, we have included a version of the membership form in rtf format. This form can be opened and filled out using any word processor. As with the pdf form, we ask that you save a copy for your files and email a copy to membership@whwb.org. A link to the rtf form can be found on the Join WHWB page.
