We have recently received requests for advice and assistance in the use of monitoring and measurement tools for vibration, radiation, dust, noise and light.
We also have received requests from a number of occupational hygiene students and a few recent graduates who are interested in contacting potential mentors.
If you are interested in mentoring WHWB members in any of these or other areas of occupational hygiene, please comment on this post and/or send us an email to mentors@whwb.org and we will try to match you up with a suitable candidate.

Hi,
I am interested in knowing a little bit more about the mentoring match up. What kind of information would I be able to ask a mentor for? Also what would I be expected to provide as a mentor if i sign up?
Hi, I could assist where needed and direct to other sources when needed. Love to help.
Regards,
Don Andrechek RSO,
I would be happy to provide mentoring support.
I have just started mentoring for the UK Faculty of Occupational Hygiene. They have some succinct guidance on mentoring. I could ask if they would be prepared to release it to WHWB to support this effort if that would be of value.
Regards
Richard Brown

WHWB has formed a mentoring subcommittee to develop guidelines for this program. Over the next few months we will be contacting those of you who have shown an interest in mentoring or being mentored for your input. At the present time we are assuming that mentors will be drawn from the WHWB membership and that they will mentor individuals outside of North America. Both AIHA in the US and CRBOH in Canada have established mentoring programs that should service North America.
Anyone interested in mentoring or being linked to a potential mentor should contact mentors@whwb.org.
