Please donate books to Renaissance University’s OHS program today

WHWB is supporting the development of a new undergraduate occupational hygiene program at Renaissance University in Southern Nigeria. Dr Obiora Ejim, Vice Chancellor of Rennaisance has asked that our members and supporters consider donating any occupational hygiene books they no longer need to form the nucleus of an OHS collection for the Renaissance library. If you have any books to donate, please contact us at info@whwb.org as soon as possible. Dr Ejim will be in Toronto and Hamilton Ontario for the next three weeks, and is arranging for the shipment of collected books to Nigeria before he leaves Canada. If you can get your books to Toronto or Hamilton before his shipment leaves, they can be added to the collection. Please consider contributing to this worthy effort.

If you have any surplus hygiene equipment that could be used for training purposes, please consider donating it as well. Personal air sampling pumps and calibrators would be particularly appreciated, as would toxic gas monitors and other direct reading instruments.

Remember that all donations should be received in time to be part of Dr. Ejim’s shipment in mid-August, to ensure they are transferred to Nigeria as expeditiously as possible. Contact us at info@whwb.org if you have any questions about the Renaissance University project.
