Donate Books and Equipment Now

Hygiene BooksFor some time WHWB has been working with Dr. Obi Ejim, Vice Chancellor of Renaissance University in Southern Nigeria to assist development of an occupational health and safety program at his university. The University already has undergraduate programs in basic sciences and engineering and so has an excellent foundation in place for the development of an OHS program. Dr. Ejim is interested in receiving donations of text books to form the nucleus of an OHS library at Renaissance. Although he did not specifically request it, I am sure he also would be happy to receive any support materials such as educational OHS software as well.

Renaissance also has need of basic industrial hygiene field equipment for teaching purposes. Functional sampling pumps calibrators and simple direct reading instruments would be particularly appreciated. The university already has basic analytical chemistry capabilities but would undoubtedly appreciate any specialized OHS related laboratory equipment that would help extend their analytical capabilities into OHS.

Skc PCXR4Dr. Ejim will be in Toronto, Canada in early August and is prepared to arrange for shipment of any books or equipment that we can gather together for him in Toronto by July 31.

If you live near Toronto and if you have any OHS textbooks that you no longer use, we would be grateful if you would donate them them to WHWB for transfer to Dr. Ejim. Please comment below if you wish to do so. You can also contact us at: info@whwb.org, providing titles of any books and a description of any equipment you are willing to donate. We will put you in touch with Dr. Ejim and help arrange for transfer of the material to him while he is in Toronto.
